Gubi Multi-lite Pendant Light

The Gubi Multi-Lite pendant lamp was designed by Danish designer Louis Weisdorf in 1972. The design of the gubi suspension light with its unique and playful shade embodies Weisdorf’s passion for versatility: the base of the suspension gubi light consists of three basic shapes – two fixed cylinders and a hemisphere – framed by thin rings. What sets it apart? The hemisphere is divided into two parts, allowing the two halves to move and inviting you to play with shape and light the extraordinary design of suspension gubi multi lite by turning one half of the shade, the luminaire not only changes visually, but also determines the diffused light. Turn the two halves down and the light will illuminate the ceiling, creating a cozy ambience. By placing the two halves upwards, a downward light can be created, which can, for example, illuminate a dining table. If the two halves move relative to each other, the light is diffused indirectly and the lampshade looks like a piece of sculptural art.
